Buying and selling

This is not a section about what to buy. It is about the screen: where the fields are, what each one changes, what happens after the click, and what to do when something does not go the way it should. Every lesson ends with one thing you can do on your own.

About the exchange used in the examples

The screens in this section are from BYDFi, the exchange Renato uses and with which he has a partnership. The sign-up link here is a partner link — if you open an account through it, Renato is credited as the referrer. It is written down because that changes how any page should be read, and you have a right to know before reading the rest. What it does not change: no lesson here tells you to trade, none promises a result, and every screen shown is a real screen, untouched. The steps work on any exchange — only the field names change.

Renato's partner link. You can open the account directly on the exchange's site without it.

The warning that comes first

Buying and selling crypto carries risk of loss, including the whole amount. Leverage increases that risk and can wipe out a position in minutes. Nothing in this section is investment advice; the material is educational. If you did not understand what a screen does, the right move is not to try it — it is to ask.
